Giving Back to the Community as a Private Practice Owner with Sonila
For most of you, it's your passion to help as many people as possible and your dreams of building a successful private practice that get you out of bed in the morning.
But how do you achieve both goals at the same time?
Our latest podcast guest, Sonila, approached this by giving back to the community!
Sonila used to work full-time at a non-profit organization and part-time at a private practice on weekends. After joining Business School for Therapists, she realized her lack of confidence stopped her from doing private practice full-time. She also discovered the key to building a successful private practice is to support the community.
Now, she not only fills her group practice with ideal clients but also supports her community through a non-profit called Care for Albania, which provides every necessity for the orphanage center in her hometown.
In this episode, Sonila shares her journey of starting a private practice when she wasn't from the U.S., her experience with Business School for Therapists, and how she found her calling: running a non-profit and a group practice. She also provides tips for anyone starting a private practice for the first time.
