Success Story: Alisa

Your experience with Bootcamp in one sentence: Bootcamp was challenging, but I learned so much and got my practice running so successfully so quickly that I was able to consider expanding to a group practice within 6 months.

How were you feeling before you signed up for Bootcamp?: I was worried that I wouldn't be able to succeed in my practice and have the schedule that I wanted for my family.

What did your private practice look like before Bootcamp started?: My practice was small. My caseload was never full, and I was never able to pay all of my bills. I loved my clients and worked hard on marketing and networking but it wasn't paying off.

How do you feel after Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: I am so grateful for BSB! It helped me grow my practice into a practice where I get to work with clients who energize and inspire me, and it has allowed me to work toward the work/life balance that I am seeking.

How have your private practice and life changed after Bootcamp (processes, clinically, work-life balance, financially)?: I spend a lot less time on paperwork. The time I spend on marketing has a much better ROI than any of the marketing/networking that I was doing before. I'm not exactly where I want to be with work/life balance, but I was able to change my schedule to get it much closer to what I want. Clinically, I spend more time learning and growing as a therapist.

What would you say to someone else who is on the fence about joining Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: If you are willing to put in the work, it will pay off.

What do you wish you had known about private practice before you started?: That you need to work with people who know how to market a therapy practice, not just someone who knows marketing in general.
