Your experience with Bootcamp in one sentence: It gave me the knowledge, support, and confidence I needed to not give up on myself.
How were you feeling before you signed up for Bootcamp?: I knew I wanted to do Bootcamp for a long time and felt like I was flailing around and trying random things with no real clarity before I finally made the investment to join.
What did your private practice look like before Bootcamp started?: I was doing work that was really draining and not fulfilling for me just because there was a need I could fill and it paid well. I was taking the “easy way out” in terms of not needing marketing, but it was so much harder in every other way. It was not worth it, and I was on a fast track to burnout.
How do you feel after Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: Clear and confident in so many ways. I have a clear vision and know what I need to do to get there. Also, so much more supported and way less isolated!
How have your private practice and life changed after Bootcamp (processes, clinically, work-life balance, financially)?: I know what I need to charge, am getting a steady client base, no longer see clients late into the evening. My schedule is so much better. I recently took an unplanned day off and didn’t freak out about lost $$ because it was built into my business plan. I’m seeing the clients I want to see and am not worried about saying no to something that doesn’t fit for my business. I also started collaborative notes.
What would you say to someone else who is on the fence about joining Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: It is absolutely worth it and will more than pay for itself.
What do you wish you had known about private practice before you started?: I wish I had known enough about how to market myself to not waste a year-plus doing something that drained me more than marketing ever will!
