Stepping into Your Power as a Private Practice Owner with Megan

In summer of 2020, Megan resigned from an abusive work environment and found herself living off savings, navigating the hiring process amidst a global pandemic, and healing through grief and loss.

She previously owned a small business supporting therapists with professional development but was unable to sustain it amidst the hours and burnout from institution work.

While Megan considered private practice as early as 2013, she didn’t realize it was the best fit for her until she stumbled upon a free training with zynnyme.

Megan knew that in order to step into private practice she would need both the nuts and the bolts of business, so she made the leap and joined Business School for Therapists.

She now has an aligned solo private practice that supports her financially where she’s able to set her own schedule and has policies and systems in place that allow her to bring her best self to her clients. Megan is excited for her continued growth as she leans into marketing and already has her website ranking on page 2 for search results!
