Shifting Your Money Mindset and Recognizing Your Worth with Helen
It's challenging to anticipate all the costs when you first go into private practice. So, you tend to charge too generously and build a low-cost therapy business that’s impossible to sustain.
Yet, it's never too late to turn things around.
Helen started her private practice in 2010. Due to her lack of financial knowledge and confidence, she charged very low fees for her services, which didn't cover all the costs of running a private practice. But, after joining Business School for Therapists, she felt much more confident in setting up fees, schedules, and boundaries for her private practice. And her practice is now FULL!
In this episode, Helen shares with Miranda her challenge of managing finances, her mistake of not planning ahead, and her shift in mindset that led to financial success. She also offers useful tips to those who want to build a sustainable practice from scratch.
