Evolving and Growing Your Business with Laura
Can random modifications end up being better than the original? Can failure generate new ideas that lead to successful outcomes you might not have imagined?
The key is to be NOT afraid of testing new ideas.
In 2015, Laura started a podcast called Therapy Chat to share valuable information with her clients and other clinicians about healing trauma. Despite not knowing what a podcast was, she learned a lot from her guests, and people told her they found it insightful.
Six years later, Laura launched a second podcast, Trauma Chat, for the general public that allows listeners to learn more about trauma. And following the podcast, she created Trauma Therapist Network, a community for trauma therapists to connect and support each other and for clients to find the right therapists.
Now, she’s a busy group practice owner and has multiple sources of income!
In this episode, Laura shares her transition from solo to group practice, her struggle with burnout, and how she turned her podcast into a powerful therapist directory. She also offers useful tips on how to manage multiple streams of income as a therapist.
