Finding What’s Next With Kasey

Kelsey, an LPCC working with family counseling in Kentucky, knew from early in her career that she didn’t want the average private practice.  An unexpected pregnancy complication and the financial devastation it caused opened her eyes to the need for residual income. Once her daughter was born, she set out with fervor to achieve it, going from private practice to a thriving group practice with over 16 locations and still growing.

It wasn’t always easy.  Kasey started out as many do—working on everything—by herself and soon realized she was running on adrenaline.  She started outsourcing but then found out the hard way that communication and an understanding of what your staff is doing for you is vital.  She also found that having the right team around you in crisis can give you the strength to rebuild and thrive.

Kasey continues to grow her business each year and even managed to not lose money this past year with the pandemic. She put all this experience in her first book “Fix This Next for Healthcare Providers: Your Business Is Like A Patient, You Just Have To Treat It That Way,” so she can help others realize the value of their time and maximizing it to build the practice they’re dreaming of.
