Overcoming Fears and Trusting The Process with Karen
Karen worked in the public sector for years and loved every second of it. She spent her time helping clients and found comfort in regular paychecks, but that all changed abruptly.
It was a dark moment as Karen’s health began to deteriorate to the point she could no longer hold a regular 9-5 position. She began to lose self-confidence as she was forced to live off disability for two years. But Karen didn't lose hope, and she still felt like she had work to do. Feeling uncertain, she made the jump into private practice.
For some time, Karen contemplated private practice, as she knew it would be a lot of work and responsibility. After joining zynnyme’s Business School for Therapists, Karen was able to overcome her fears of “being a businessperson,” work around her illness, and trust the process. Now, she’s coaching women with anxiety, running her own clinical practice, and evaluating for a school district while managing her chronic illness.
Don’t miss Karen’s story about how she moved forward in spite of the unpredictability and found success in practice!
