Jackie worked in a state agency office doing work that left her feeling unsatisfied. As the only sex therapist in the state, she advocated for her sex therapy work but wasn't helped with promoting her business. As the agency suggested working with trauma patients, a group she didn't have experience with, she started feeling trapped and unfulfilled. She knew the only way to align herself with her work was to enter private practice.
