What Numbers Do You Need to Know To Keep You and Your Business Safe

This week I sat down with a therapist who was extremely fearful about how Covid had impacted their practice, their income, and their caseload. We looked at the number to assess the damage, and guess what we found? Income had increased almost $1k from February to March.

It is ok and NORMAL to feel anxious right now. But, we need to pull up some data points to get clear about the reality of our caseloads, our income, and our options so we can base decisions based on what is really happening. If you find that numbers are down, that is ok.

You do not need to live in fear of what the numbers might say. You need to know what those numbers are so you can create a plan that makes sense for your unique situation and keep you and business safe and healthy financially and otherwise.

You Can’t Trust Your Gut Alone Right Now in Business

Many of us trust our "gut" when it comes to business and that gut is pretty overwhelmed with basic daily safety. So, let's support our guts and intuition with some data points. And, then let’s make sure we are giving our fight or flight system some moments of rest and renewal through breathwork, meditation, prayer, or whatever strategies work for you.

Here is a quick 20-minute training on what numbers you can be tracking right now in your private practice to determine the next steps. We share what is really working and what the numbers are really saying in private practices across the country. There are so really important trends we are seeing that could make all the difference for your marketing and the health of your practice. Click to watch today.

Miranda Palmer
I have successfully built a cash pay psychotherapy practice from scratch on a shoestring budget. I have also failed a licensed exam by 1 point (only to have the licensing board send me a later months later saying I passed), started an online study group to ease my own isolation and have now reached thousands of therapists across the country, helped other therapists market their psychotherapy practices, and helped awesome business owners move from close to closing their doors, to being profitable in less than 6 weeks. I've failed at launching online programs. I've had wild success at launching online programs. I've made mistakes in private practice I've taught others how to avoid my mistakes. You can do this. You were called to this work. Now- go do it! Find some help or inspiration as you need it- but do the work!
