Remember in school, you would tell people what you were studying and they would look at you funny? Or that moment on a plane that someone asks what you do and you sorta cringe about how to respond? The more comfortable we are about who we are and what we do, the closer we get to ending the stigma.
I am proud to say, I have been to therapy. I have had my pains and past hurts and I also have wanted to just be a better and healthier person. Therapy has helped me get there. Therapy has helped my marriage, my friendships, my business and so much more.
How will you help end the stigma? Do you carry any of your own? Do you need your mental health cared for?
