Your Experience with Bootcamp in one sentence: Bootcamp is how I starting with only clinical training and passion and built around it a full vision for my business, and a workable plan to implement that which turned into more than I could even dream when I started!

How were you feeling before you signed up for bootcamp? : Determined, but clueless. Capable but lost.

What did your private practice look like before bootcamp started?: It was an extremely small side gig type of practice. I was not making any money to speak of and didn't know how to change that. I doubted that I'd be able to make a go of it as a full time therapist.

How do you feel after Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: Right after bootcamp, I felt empowered and more organized, and honestly also overwhelmed. I could see more clearly where I wanted to go, and where my weaknesses and strengths as a business person were. I had a whole lot of concrete actions to take to work toward what I wanted.

How has your private practice and life changed after bootcamp (processes, clinically, work-life balance, financially): My processes are locked down, my fees make sense to me, I know who my ideal clients are and how to attract them, and I have more time to spend on improving my clinical skills (a lifelong job) because I'm spending less time on unproductive marketing that doesn't fit my style. I've developed effective techniques for attracting my ideal clients that are also fulfilling ways to give back to my community. I'm recognized and respected in my community as an expert in my niche. Because of that, new doors are opening all the time for me and my business. I have new dreams that I thought were out of reach when I started.

What would you say to someone else who is on the fence about joining Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: Do it. It's totally worth it. For the community alone it's worth it. I have received so much amazing advice and support. It's critical for running a private practice.

What do you wish you had known about private practice before you started?: I wish I'd known more about how to budget and handle the money aspects. That is the one thing that took me a while to get my head around, and the issue I had the most fear about going into my private practice. But now, it's not an issue at all. I'm making good money as a full time therapist, and know how to continue doing that, and also how to grow when I want to. I have time to do a lot of volunteering in my community, which feels amazing!
