Your experience with Bootcamp in one sentence: Expert guidance just how and when I needed it, appropriate over years of evolving my practice

How were you feeling before you signed up for Bootcamp?: Scared! I had no idea what I was doing. I was afraid I would never find clients, and the idea of building a website totally freaked me out.

What did your private practice look like before Bootcamp started?: Just 2 clients; I was at the very beginning—didn't even have my own office yet.

How do you feel after Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: Confident! I have mastered most of the skills for building a business, and I am confident I can learn what I need to in order for my business to grow as my needs change over time.

How have your private practice and life changed after Bootcamp (processes, clinically, work-life balance, financially)?: My practice is 80-100% full every week, with 100% private pay. (I also do some pro-bono work) Still working on work-life balance, but only because I love what I do, and my kids are all grown now, so I am much more able to organize my time as I choose.

What would you say to someone else who is on the fence about joining Business School Bootcamp for Therapists?: Do it! They will teach you the skills and hold you accountable. You won't be sorry! I've done a number of trainings (probably too many; now I just focus my love of training on clinical skills, not marketing!) and this one is by far the best bang for your buck. The knowledge base is unbelievably extensive, and Kelly and Miranda are super responsive during Bootcamp.

What do you wish you had known about private practice before you started?: Niche down. Believe them when they say this!!! It's soooo scary, but now my practice is full with clients I LOVE and CAN HELP!!! What could be better than that. Just yesterday I spoke to someone who called me by accident (was trying to find my copycat namesake, just sayin') and after hearing about my niche said, "It's like you read my diary!"
