Announcement: NBCC CE Hours for Fall 2015 Bootcamp

One of the most surprising thing for our bootcamper attendees is how much of the material that is covered is clinical in nature. But it is business... but it is clinical...

Is Business School Bootcamp Business or Clinical Training?

The truth is, Kelly and I are therapists first and business people second. We see the connection between business practices and clinical practice. While being an ineffective business person doesn't make a bad therapist.... it doesn't allow you to practice being an amazing therapist.Your business inefficiencies, your money blocks, your marketing frustration- it will all get in the way of being a completely awesome therapist.

How do you get started on such a big project?

Ok- back to the point. Bootcampers have long requested getting Continuing education credit for attending bootcamp because they see the impact on their clinical practice. However, it has been tough to know where to start to provide continuing education units to multiple types of mental health clinicians across the United States and around the world. Ultimately, we were inspired to just take action. Action in your business is powerful.

Don't Reinvent the Wheel

Jamie L. Summers Stacks, PA is a bootcamp alumnus and a self-care trainer for therapists. She has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6710 and she has done an evaluation and is able to offer a 14 hour continuing education hour certificate to therapists who participate in the interactive web based Business School Bootcamp for Therapists in Fall of 2015.

Doing a trial run

This will be a trial to see if this is a good fit long-term for us and for our bootcampers. We are SO proud that both new bootcampers and alumni will have the opportunity to get CE Hours. We have put together an FAQ on getting CE hours for Bootcamp. You can find all the details on CE hours here

Are you a lifetime member of bootcamp? You will be re-enrolled for Fall 2015 and get access to everything without having to pay anything extra!

Miranda Palmer
I have successfully built a cash pay psychotherapy practice from scratch on a shoestring budget. I have also failed a licensed exam by 1 point (only to have the licensing board send me a later months later saying I passed), started an online study group to ease my own isolation and have now reached thousands of therapists across the country, helped other therapists market their psychotherapy practices, and helped awesome business owners move from close to closing their doors, to being profitable in less than 6 weeks. I've failed at launching online programs. I've had wild success at launching online programs. I've made mistakes in private practice I've taught others how to avoid my mistakes. You can do this. You were called to this work. Now- go do it! Find some help or inspiration as you need it- but do the work!
